-Feral cats need help too-
About Us
Our
Mission
Did you know…
A female cat is able to get pregnant as young as four months of age and have as many as 24 kittens per year? (that means one cat can turn into 144 cats in one year, yikes!) All of those kittens either end up reproducing more kittens, suffering from predators or the elements, or in already overpopulated shelters and at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission at Moon Valley Felines is to control the feral cat population in the mountain communities by creating an efficient TNR (trap-neuter-return) program and educating the community on feral and domestic cat care. Read more about TNR and how you can help here.
We focus on TNR because it is the only effective way of slowing the rapid growth of feral cat colonies and in turn, the number of orphaned kittens ending up in shelters.
